Evangelistic Team

The Venture of Faith Evangelistic Team was started in the summer of 2000 to help train college students in the summer time, promote the camp, and have help during the camp weeks. The “ET” works at VFC for eight weeks out of the summer. The first two weeks is training and preparing for the summer ahead. There are five camp weeks they will work at doing jobs such as: kitchen work, trash duty, counselor, referee, dorm supervisor, and other odd jobs. On the weekend they travel to different churches promoting the camp, singing in an ensemble, giving testimonies, and teaching and preaching when available. Besides going to different churches, they hold youth rallies and visit a Children’s Home. At the end of the summer they have the option of going on a missions trip with Pine Bluff Baptist Church. The “ET” is a great way for college students to put into practice what they have learned, earn a little money during the summer, and see God work in a mighty way!!
